Replace for my husband's older feather pillow. He loves it.This pillow is so wonderful! It is not to firm or poofy. It supports my neck perfectly. I highly recommend. They are real, good quality, soft. Thin, but ok for meNever owned goosedownpillows, a first, very satisfiedNot are fluffy as I’d like, but overall a quality product.Very soft and comfy, my head sinks in and it's heavenly. However, just one pillow will go flat overnight so I found I need two under my head for the right amount of support. They do need to be fluffed up and maintained. They have a slight smell when you first take them out of the plastic. It's the feather smell, and some people hate it. However, it does fade with time. That smell reminds me of my childhood so it's nostalgic and comforting to me, but my boyfriend was not a fan. The smell disappeared after a month and wasn't strong to begin with.Honestly, despite the lack of head support when using only one, they're my favorite pillows and I have 4 of them now. Do with that what you will! They go flat really quickly... Could have been filled a little moreGot the "queen sheff" kind. They are 10% down and 90% feather with a 100% cotton case that zips open/close, so you can clean that portion and not clean the pillow. When I got them, I was not happy with how they were packaged. The box was way too small for the two pillows and they were "gushing" out one end of the box, which they'd just taped down with packing tape, so the box was a wreck when I got it.After unpacking them, I had them sitting flat down on the ground for hours and they hardly fluffed up. So, I put them both in the dryer for a few mins and they were nice and fluffy looking when I pulled them out. Looks were deceiving, however, since they look fluffy but they are not what I would call "plush" by any sense of the word. I've used feather pillows before (don't know what percentage down those were however) and maybe it's because they were aged and had been "broken" in but these pillows are so stiff by comparison to the feather pillows I have used before that were comfy. My newly fluffed up pillow looked big but then I laid my head on it and my head sunk down very far and it felt stiff, like I was laying on a bag of sand that just gives into the shape of your head with no support. Sitting up, the pillow stayed flat like I had made a head impression into silly putty instead of a pillow. It has a crazy kind of feel to it, so I am describing it the best that I can. It stayed flat like that for a while and has now fluffed up just a little bit to match the image on Amazon, so if you do air fluff it in the dryer, it won't stay as fluffy looking.I will have to try actually sleeping on it but just from what I have felt so far, it does not seem like it's much of a pillow. Describing it as laying my head on a sack of sand that kind of conforms to the shape of your head and has you sink way far into it is the best description.... so not sure what kind of support you can expect for those with back problems. Which I have. So, I'll see if this helps at all. It might just take some breaking into but I'm not sure if that's how feather pillows work.Confortable
